"Great product!"
"My daughter loves it! The only downside is that the sticky adhesive for the curtains is coming off a bit already but we plan to glue it down."
"Well made and fits her small room perfectly. She loves her big girl bed."
"The amount of movement this bed makes is crazy this is even on the market. We had to screw it to the wall AND it came damaged. Beware!"
"What a cool little bed for a cool little kid. It was easy to put together and really is quite sturdy."
"I recently purchased this bed in July/August 2024. My son is a young teen. 14 years old and about 150lbs. He had a similar bed from another company for about 8 years until it started coming apart and I saw this bed and decided to give it a try. I would honestly rate this bed @ 2. 5 stars. The Plus: The wood is better quality than other beds purchased in the past. The color and the finish was done quite well. I really appreciated that it had very solid slats with a steel reinforcement rod (other beds purchased did not have this). Assembly was not that difficult. If you have ever assembled anything from IKEA, the assembly is about the same. Took me about two hours using a power drill for bolts and screws. One thing I liked was the screws were solid quality and quite long. I didn't strip any of them out while installing which has happened on other similar furniture purchased from other companies. Everything went together quite well with no issues. The Cons: as others have said the bed is actually a quite wobbly even when tight. That was very disappointing. I expected it to me more solid when everything was tightened properly. On my bed the two slats that are along the back of the bed actually wiggled themselves loose over the span of 3 months ( it is now November) and fell out. These slats SHOULD have had screws to hold them in, instead they only have the wooden dowels. Major miss. Just adding four screws on the two rear slats would solve this issue. Things that should have been done to make the bed 4 or 5 stars IMO: 1) As stated above the rear slats should have screws on them so there is zero chance of them falling out. I believe that would have also made the bed more solid. 2) Like the full size bed and the taller loft beds there should be reinforcing slats further down and along the back with screws. This would most likely eliminated the wobbly feeling of the legs. Either that or the legs or bed frame should be larger in size for more rigidity. 3) The bed should come with adhesive rubber feet for the legs for people with hardwood floors. The bare wood makes the bed slide around constantly. Although these can be easily purchased at any hardware or home good store, it would have been nice if they were included. If I had known that the bed would be this wobbly to do this all over again I would have purchased The Modern Farmhouse Play & Store Low Loft Bed."
"Was looking for a new loft bed as our older one was creaking a lot and becoming loose. son is 13 but we like the loft bed because his room is small and need the space underneath for storage. Max and Lilly was the only one we saw with a higher weight limit. Order cam rather quickly and I was concerned about putting it together by myself. Honestly it went together rather well. If you ever build a piece of Ikea furniture you will be able to put this together. It took me about 2.5 hours by myself taking my time and checking each step thoroughly before moving to the next step. If I had to do it again I could probably get it done in 1.5 hours. Having a cordless drill is a help. Several things I liked. Compared to other beds we purchased this one was solid wood, not press wood. I was initially concerned it wouldn't be sturdy enough but once together and tight, it was solid. Will probably need to tighten again when it settles, but that's to be expected. The finish was as pictured. There as one nick on the side of one of the planks. flipped it around.. don't even know its there. One thing I was VERY impressed with. The screws. They were solid allen head screws, not one of them stripped out even using cordless drill to tighten. The other thing was the nutted inserts. They were Stick and solid. Ive seen to make things come with cheap die cast metal pieces that aren't deep enough or have enough threads to really hold a screw tight.. These were the best I had seen. Also many of the planks had threaded inserts DEEP into the wood si the threads have more than enough purchase. I only had one threaded hole the whole bed where the threads could have been a little cleaner. The only thing I probably would have like to see was additional beams for the legs to make them a little more rigid at the bottom. and what would have been nice would have been some type of option to purchase rubber feet to stop bed from sliding on hardwood floors."
"Took 6 weeks to get. On top of that, some of the screws are clearly not wood screws (ex afixing ladder to frame, etc) or were not long enough to actually engage with the wood underneath (safety side), which meant that they aren't useful for putting wooden objects together. Interestingly enough, there appeared to be extra 3 extra longer wood screws without a clear use, so I'm guessing these were the fix and the instructions were either out of date or just not updated."
"Pretty rickety for adults. Okay for kids. Could use some extra strucuture. Color is true to the picture. We received a weird plague of mites with the order and had to fumigate the child's room to stop the big bites."
"Absolutely great quality easy assembly and looks amazing in our daughters room"
