Only 41.5 inches high, this best-selling Low Loft design is great for smaller rooms, opening up lots of floor space for storage and play.

Features a book storage shelf combined with a roomy storage drawer that runs on wheels directly on the floor, plus an open wooden playhouse structure with a window in the end panel.

Tall, 15" Guardrails safely fit a standard twin mattress size. The angled ladder with rounded edges offers comfortable, easy climbing.

Easy to maintain distressed finish. Flush, color-matching hardware for a clean look. Clean, low-VOC finishes contribute to a healthy indoor environment.

Sturdy and perfect hide out!

"My husband and I put together the bed in a few hours- it was fairly simple and I found the instructions easy to follow with everything lining up as it should. Our hardware was NOT labeled with numbers so I made sure to figure out which were which based on the inventory sheet in the instructions and label them before we got started to make it easier. So far the bed is super sturdy and my 3 year old has no issues climbing up and getting down on his own. The hideout underneath is the biggest treat where him and my 5 year old spend most of their time."

Sturdy, practical and looks great!

"Sturdy, practical and looks great! Love the extra storage in the toy/book shelves and the hideout underneath for the unsightly stuffies collected. It did take the full 3. 5 hours (unboxing and identifying pieces took 45 min of that time). But overall was easy to assemble, just had to keep going. 2 people needed for sure for holding things, etc. Only thing that is wonky is the top handrails, the wood can’t go flush because of another built in below (we have a rubber mallet like directions suggested but there is a wood lip in the way). It doesn’t bother us so we didn’t complain or request alternate. I’ll try to upload a photo."

You get what you pay for, and that's a good thing.

"We're very happy with this bed. The fact that is is almost entirely hardwood aside from the back of the bookcase is just awesome given the price. Assembly was simple, and I think they made great decisions on what to do at the factory versus what to leave to the buyer to do. They would probably advise against using power tools, but I used a drill with a clutch at the lowest setting and it worked great. The instructions were a little unclear at a couple spots, but it was not hard to figure out; it ain't rocket surgery. I love the rolled slats that came with it, but I did have to add more. The mattress we're using requires less than 5" between the slats, and this slat roll spacing was closer to 8" Oh, yeah, and it looks great, too. Some of the reviews commented about the "rough" finish - it does not have a high-gloss polyurethane finish, so the surface is not smooth like glass. It feels like...well, wood. It is perfectly sanded and sealed. It's a deliberate look, not a mistake. I wish we'd discovered Max and Lily back when we bought our first kid's furniture. This was for our last kid and his siblings are jealous."

"This bed was fairly difficult to set up with two people. I do not recommend one person try to put it together. Once it was together, it is very sturdy, and my son loves the secret hideout on the bottom. I love the shelving for extra storage space and that the top bunk is not super high up. Overall this is a great bed frame and I highly recommend it!"

Looks fine after spending 6+

"Looks fine after spending 6+ hours assembling the gazillion little pieces that came in several boxes. Some panels could have been preassembled and shipped in larger packages! We've done plenty of furniture assembly including bunk beds but this was pretty ridiculous. It's not a one-person job due to all the balancing and alignment needed throughout and still it took us hours. The instructions were also often confusing. The screws were all painted with a thin layer of paint that chipped off as soon as you tried to screw things in. The kid loves it but we'd never try this again."
