"Although the dresser is spacious and what I am looking for, while assembling, i noticed that there were many blemishes to the top and sides of the dresser. A previous post stated that the product did not come with the appropriate amount of hardware, unfortunately that is true and i am unable to assemble all the drawers. Lastly, one of the drawers does not have the hole punched through it in order for me to install the drawer knob."

Beautiful but stinks of chemicals

"While this is a beautiful set, the nonsolid wood components of the bottom of the drawers and the back of the dresser off-gas horrible smells that make everything smell terrible despite leaving windows open and drawers open to air out. All the clothing that we put in the dressers reek like plywood/particle board or whatever the material is so badly days later."

You get what you pay for, and that's a good thing.

"We're very happy with this dresser. The fact that is is almost entirely hardwood aside from the back and the drawer bottoms is just awesome given the price. Assembly was simple, and I think they made great decisions on what to do at the factory versus what to leave to the buyer to do. They would probably advise against using power tools, but I used a drill with a clutch at the lowest setting and it worked great. The instructions were a little unclear at a couple spots, but it was not hard to figure out; it ain't rocket surgery. Oh, yeah, and it looks great and works perfectly. I wish we'd discovered Max and Lily back when we bought our first kid's furniture. This was for our last kid and his siblings are jealous."

Yellow Wood

"The website states the wood can vary in color but the wood used for the dresser we ordered is very yellow. An unusual and unnatural yellow. Definitely not what we expected or wanted."

"Strong smell. I bought this dresser for the Greenguard Gold certification as I was shopping for someone with breathing issues, but it smells strongly like an Ikea piece. I've been in contact with customer service, and they assure me that the finishes are non-toxic and that the offgassing is normal, but I have purchased other wooden items with this certification that had little to no smell. I'm very disappointed and wish I could return this expensive item. I live in a small apartment and have nowhere to off-gas this thing. If you're looking for something that won't smell, this is not it. It also came with a chip in the wood (hidden part) and we needed to buy a rubber mallet to finish putting it together as the back panel was stuck improperly aligned, but I wouldn't even care about these annoyances if the thing didn't smell so strongly. Lots of particleboard in here, btw. I think this is no better than the Ikea pine dressers in terms of materials used. Shipping was fast, though."

Super easy to put together.

"Super easy to put together. Took less than an hour. Drawers are really good size and my two boys ages 2 and 4 are able to share this. I can fit all of their stuff inside so I’m very satisfied."
