Happy W/ Our First Big Kid Bed
"I was a little hesitant with this purchase because it was a little pricier than some similar beds I was looking at. I'm very happy with my decision though. This is my 3 year old son's first big kid bed and we assembled it "together" one day while my husband wasn't feeling well. I don't usually put things together but this wasn't the hardest and the bed feels so solid, safe, and like it will last a long time. It's really cute, my son loves it and is sleeping in his own room for the first time in a long time. I paired it with the Nod Tuft and Needle 8 inch mattress and it looks and feels great."

- Can the guardrails be customized and placed at both the headboard side and the footboard side? Or are there pre-filled holes for which the rails connect. Also, after rails are removed, does it leave any holes or marks behind?
- Hi Kristin! Yes, you can move the guardrails as there are no predrilled holes, and yes, there would be holes where it was screwed in.
- This bed is 81.5" long, which is the same as other Twin XL beds online. However, the mattress sold with it is 75" long. Is the bed frame accounting for the 6.5" difference? Would a Twin XL mattress (80" long) fit in this bed frame? Thanks
