"The Modern Farmhouse Twin-Size Low Loft Bed with 3-Drawer Dresser, 2-Shelf Bookcase and Hook-on Desk is absolutely beautiful--I could not be happier with this purchase. Bought for my 8 year old son while doing a room makeover as his "big gift" this Christmas. He loves it! I ordered on Black Friday, and processing time took just about 3 weeks, which had me a little worried--but once it shipped, it actually arrived even quicker than the estimated shipping date had indicated. It came in 4 boxes, I could lift two of them pretty easily, but the one with the bed was VERY heavy- definitely plan to have another hand on deck to help you move the boxes. It was simple enough to assemble, the peg like pieces (for the drawers and shelf) proved to be a little struggle for me initially, but I figured it out. Having a drill handy was also a necessity for sure. The finish on the wood is just as pictured, and it's all pretty sturdy, as well. Just to reiterate, overall I am thrilled with this purchase--if you're considering buying don't hesitate!"

Glad we bought this bed!

"I was hesitant buying from this company at first because I saw some negative reviews on instagram, but I’m so glad we did. Shipping takes about 2 weeks but they tell you that ahead of time. My husband was able to assemble it by himself in a couple of hours, he’s pretty handy. The finish is beautiful. No off putting smell, it just smells like wood. Pottery barn sells something similar to this and has the same weight limit of 400lbs but 2-3 times the price and they use mdf wood. This bed is all natural wood!! So hard to find for this price!!! Other companies online offer similar beds but with half the weight limit so I knew this bed was good quality. My only regret is not spending a couple of hundred dollars more for the upgraded version which includes a ladder 3 more drawers and a desk that you can push in and out of the frame. Overall so happy with this purchase."

Can the desk be attached to the frame at the foot of the bed instead of the side?
Hi Jessica! Yes, you can swap the dresser and desk to your liking.
Can the desk be removed and added as needed? Or is it stationary?
The desk does have an option to be removed.
Would a deeper desk ever be considered for this loft bed? 13” seems so shallow.
The wonderful part about this low loft bed is that the desk and drawer fit underneath! You could get another desk, but it may not fit underneath!
I'm not understanding how the desk works. Does it slide underneath the bed when not in use?
The desk rolls underneath, and hooks on to the low loft bed when you pull it out.
Can the dresser, shelves and desk be put in either side of the bed and at either end?
