Great transitional bed from the crib!
"We love this bed frame! It's perfect for a kid transitioning out of the crib. My daughter fell out a couple times when she was getting used to it, but didn't even wake up because it's so low to the ground. We got an 8†mattress (from a different store) for it and that height seems to work well. There are gaps between the mattress and frame, which is annoying, but we just shoved a blanket in the gap so the mattress doesn't move. The only thing I didn't like was that the edges and corners seemed a bit sharp, which isn't ideal for a rambunctious toddler, but we put corner guards on it so I can rest easier. My husband split a piece of the wood while assembling it. I chalked it up to him tightening the screws too much. However, I just chipped off another small piece by accidentally hitting a plastic toy against it while cleaning. I didn't think I hit it that hard so it seems a little fragile to me. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase and will likely buy from Max & Lily again."

"I had one screw for the slats that wouldn't tighten, but overall I love the quality and look of this bed. The best is well constructed and will last years to come. Assembly instructions were clear, the twin-sized bed was easy to put together by myself, and my LO is over the moon excited. I feel better knowing my LO is close to the ground and can easily get in and out of bed. Just one note of caution, my LO helped me move parts and the wood around the predrilled holes definitely had splinters."
