It fits well with a 5 or 6 inch mattress and has a tall enough side railing that I have no concern for safety while sleeping on the top bunk. I love that it is low to the ground and is made of great quality materials. Assembly took me approximately 2 hours by myself and was not difficult with the provided instructions. What’s is the width of the bunk frame? The measurement not including the ladder

Hi I saw your twin over twin bunk beds on Amazon. They list the dimensions as 81.5L x 54.25 W x 50 H. I think the width is not for a twin bed. I believe that a twin mattress is only 42”s wide. Can you tell me are these dimensions correct.
