"There are some aspects we love about this bed and others that we wish were a little better. The color is very pretty and looks really nice, especially in the sun. The actual frame that supports the mattress is solid wood and feels really nice. We also love the extra support beam that runs along the middle of the mattress area! One thing we wish was better is the material used for the slats on the headboard and the panel on the footboard. I’m not sure I would consider these to be the “solid wood” Max and Lily is known for. It feels very lightweight to us and doesn’t have that heavy, solid look or feel we expected. Other than that, we are very happy with the bed!"

"Bed came with the trundle slightly damaged. It looks like it was damaged before shipped as they tried to repair it. It's not super noticeable. My biggest concern is the smell. It's supposedly GreenGuard but the smell is so bad it gives me a headache. I tried to air it out and wipe it down and it still smells after a few weeks."

"Bed seems sturdy but still has a powerful smell. I bought this bed bc it advertised that it was GREENGUARD made better with less VOCs but the smell is overpowering. It's been a week and the smell is still super strong. Thought this wasnt supposed to have bad smells. The paint job isnt great. some parts were painted with only one coat. The trundle part in the corner was damaged before being sending in the mail and they did a poor job of touching it up. Very disappointed."
