"It's real wood. It's easy to our together. It looks great and my daughter loves it. We went from a crib to this and it was a seamless transition. Often mom or dad sleeps on the trundle if she is scared. My kids love to jump from the bed to the trundle and it holds up."

"There are some aspects we love about this bed and others that we wish were a little better. The color is very pretty and looks really nice, especially in the sun. The actual frame that supports the mattress is solid wood and feels really nice. We also love the extra support beam that runs along the middle of the mattress area! One thing we wish was better is the material used for the slats on the headboard and the panel on the footboard. I’m not sure I would consider these to be the “solid wood” Max and Lily is known for. It feels very lightweight to us and doesn’t have that heavy, solid look or feel we expected. Other than that, we are very happy with the bed!"

- We have a small space by a window to get this bed in (40.75 in). I noticed the width overall was 42.5in. I was wondering if you could give me the dimensions of outer leg to outer leg or give the dimensions of the overhang on each side.
