"Not enough slats to support mattresses. Most mattresses require slats no more than 4 inches apart - this bed more more than double that distance. I had to purchase a new slat set to replace the one that came with the bed. Also, the headboard is very short. With a 12" mattress, it's barely visible. Other parts of the bed are good - but these are 2 significant problems."
