Quality is great, as well

"Quality is great, as well as how it looks and the materials are super heavy, adding to the quality. We would definitely buy from them again!"

Twin/ Full Bunk with Steps

"Received in good condition. Love the bed. Took handyman 3. 5 hours to assemble. Steps more involved than ladder. Please be aware that making the bed is cumbersome if you are a grandparent. Grandkids love it."

This bed is perfect for

"This bed is perfect for my two girls, 3 and 6, to share a room. The love it so much. I love that it’s lower for my 3 year old and has stairs."

Bethany P. (5/5)

The item was sent with

"The item was sent with a chipped wood panel it looks like it was chipped and just got painted over"

Nery A. (3/5)

"I really like the stairs, unfortunately the top bunk sits much lower than expected, my 4 year old son cannot sit up without hitting his head. He is to claustrophobic to sleep on it. Otherwise the bed is great."

Stephanie (2/5)

We love how sturdy this

"We love how sturdy this bed is. My son has Autism and this material is definitely able to hold up to his constant jumping and crashing onto the bed. Already recommended to all my mom friends!"

No slat support beam for bottom bunk

"Mixed feelings. I mostly like the bunk bed. But just forewarning, the bottom bunk doesn't come with the metal support beam for the slats. The slats flex too much to give any confidence that a parent can just sleep with the child and roll away. I'm not even convinced the bottom slats can hold an adult for repeated use in case your child insists sometimes that you sleep in the bottom bunk for a little bit. If it's exclusively small children that will use the bed, then you are golden. Otherwise, either DIY the beam or see how much it'd cost to buy the extra accessory. I'm a little disappointed because I thought I was done after the big purchase."

Great bunk beds for our son's first ""big boy bed""!

"We couldn't be more happy with this bunk bed for our 3. 5 yr old son's first ""big boy bed""! We looked around a ton of places to find a good bunk bed, one that wouldn't be too high and one that looked like good quality and this was the perfect choice. It was relatively easy to put together it just took a few hours and the stairs you have to pay attention to but it all came out great. Highly recommend!!"

Q&A

Does this bed need bunkie boards?
HI Divya! none of our beds require a bunky board.
Is it possible to separate the beds and use them individually?
Hey Marissa! Unfortunately, our low bunk beds do not separate from each other. If you're looking for a convertible bunk bed, you can check out our full collection of them here: https://maxandlily.com/collections/convertible-bunk-beds?sort=ga_unique_purchases%3Ddesc We hope this information is helpful, and let us know if you have any other questions!
Can you place stairs on either side or only the right side of bed? I saw pictures of some of your other bed models where the user pictures displays the stairs on both sides. Is that also possible with this model to have stairs placed on both sides or only the right side as pictured in the product photos?
Hey TJ! This bunk is super flexible to best fit your space, so you can install stairs on either side of the bed. We hope this information is helpful, and let us know if you have any other questions.
What is the maximum weight capacity of the top bunk? I see it says 400 lbs but is that between both beds or is that per bed?
Hey Dylan! Our beds have a weight capacity of 400 pounds each, so 400 pounds on the top bunk and 400 pounds on the bottom bunk. We hope this information is helpful, and let us know if you have any other questions!
Could these be used as separate beds if at some point bunks were no longer wanted
Hey Brent! Unfortunately, our low bunk beds cannot be separated, but we do offer a collection of convertible bunk beds that can be used as separate beds. You can find them here: https://maxandlily.com/collections/convertible-bunk-beds?sort=ga_unique_purchases%3Ddesc We hope this information is helpful, and let us know if you have any other questions!
Hi! I am heavily considering getting this for my son who will be 4 in April and daughter who will be 18 months in April, so I’m shopping around now and wanted to know, will you be making a full over full bunk bed with stairs just like this? We really love that you have twin over full now but would really love a full over full! Thank you!!
Hey Julia! Unfortunately, we do not currently have any immediate plans to make a full over full low bunk bed, but never say never! We highly recommend this bed, but keep an eye out in the future as we are constantly releasing new products. We hope this helps, and please let us know if you have any other questions!
Does the stairwell have storage in it?
Hey Gauri! Yes, the staircase on this bed has storage! While the steps themselves don't double as storage, there are three side cubbies included for your storage needs. We hope this information is helpful, and let us know if you have any other questions!
