"I searched for a real-wood bookcase that was reasonable priced, and this one fit the bill and looks great in the nursery. The style and workmanship is perfect."
"I tried to assemble this shelf and it completely fell apart. The frame is particle board and when trying to get the pieces to slide into place as instructed, the pressure was enough to make the side completely rip off. Now I can’t even finish putting it together. And I’ve had enough experience with this company to know that I will not likely see replacement parts any time soon, as I have been waiting 3 weeks for some pieces to be replaced on another item I had an issue with. Their wood pieces are great, but their particle board pieces fall apart way too easily. My first impression upon opening the box is that this item seems flimsy and cheap, which was confirmed. For the price, i expected better. I am a woman of pretty average size and strength, and me attempting to apply enough pressure to put the pieces in place without any tools was enough to make the whole thing break in multiple places. At this point I just want my money back so I can buy a cheaper and sturdier shelf elsewhere."
