"It’s been just under 2 weeks and my almost-6 year old has been sleeping beautifully on the 5in mattress. No issues with it expanding; we did give it 24+ hours before it was slept on. After reading other reviews about feeling bed slats through the mattress, I did proactively buy a bunkie board on Amazon for extra support. A little annoying, but glad I did because the slats are very wide apart. That seems like more of a bed frame issue though, not a mattress issue. Overall very happy with all of our Max and Lilly purchases."

I’m happy with it overall, but if you’re just switching mattresses your older kiddo might not find this as comfortable. Great quality though!"
