"Overall a good bed for the price. There was one pretty noticeable knick in one of the sideboards. The slats also rattle significantly when the bed moves. We can fix it with some wood glue, but it’s pretty annoying. The top rail also doesn’t quite seat well into the post."

"These are very nice bunk beds. Solid wood, relatively easy to put together. All parts and pieces were there, instructions were pictures and part numbers to follow step by step, had to pay attention to detail but they were accurate. The trundle fits perfectly underneath with bedding on it, but the pillows were to thick. Could probably squish them down to fit, but I didn't. I weigh 145 and have climbed up from the ladder to the top bunk to put the sheets on it and did not feel at all concerned about being too heavy. Not even a creak. The mattress support boards have a lengthwise metal beam down the middle and each one is screwed in to the side rail. Very secure. I got this for when the grandkids come over, it wont have daily use, but it is very much capable of handling daily use. I got the white finish, which you can see some wood grain through. Matches my white baseboards and trim perfectly. My only complaint is the part number stickers. Handy for when you are assembling, but what a pain to remove those, they did not peel off nicely. Overall an excellent purchase and a great value."
