"The solid wood pieces and simple bed structural design are exactly what i was looking for, and my daughter loves the low loft height with room for her belongings underneath. The only downside was that the packaging was not quite sturdy enough, and a couple of boards had unintended grooves/squashed areas. They weren’t structural or noticeable enough when built to warrant an exchange, but is maybe worth the manufacturer’s awareness! From a design perspective, I also found it a little odd that the bookcase shelves rely on short wood dowels to support what could be heavy book weight rather than having a solid horizontal board supported by the section dividers. Only mentioning because it isn’t obvious in pictures!"

I'm wondering if this frame will fit an XL twin mattress or if it has to be regular twin size?
