Bunk Beds and Engineers
"Wanted to update our smallest bedroom, now a guest room, to offer couples or couples with kids a better sleep option than full sized bed we removed. Opted to purchase twin XL over queen bunk bed [ in white]. Felt this would offer best use of limited space with more comfort. Happy with the Max and Lily styling. Order processed quickly and delivered in just 48 hours. Generally pleased with the quality of the construction. Had read the reviews about the assembly instructions being somewhat obtuse- have to agree that I can see why reviews share that feedback. As a retired engineer traded on our profession's "directions, we don't need directions" standard. Seriously, the instructions are entirely pictographs-feel they would benefit from some accompanying verbiage. Also, while every part is labelled with numerical ID, the addition of another label "this side faces out" [ e. g. on the queen end frame that receives the bottom rail" would set the average person up for success. Was able to assemble by myself except for getting the twin on top of the queen. Virtually everthing is bolted, did a twin side rail exhibit small spilt after rubber mallet to seat dowels-replacement piece sent by M&L; mallet first then bolt would be my suggestion. The green certification was important to our daughter and in fact we decided to purchase the M&L twin mattress as well after."
