"While this is a beautiful set, the nonsolid wood components of the bottom of the drawers and the back of the dresser off-gas horrible smells that make everything smell terrible despite leaving windows open and drawers open to air out. All the clothing that we put in the dressers reek like plywood/particle board or whatever the material is so badly days later."
"We're very happy with this dresser. The fact that is is almost entirely hardwood aside from the back and the drawer bottoms is just awesome given the price. Assembly was simple, and I think they made great decisions on what to do at the factory versus what to leave to the buyer to do. They would probably advise against using power tools, but I used a drill with a clutch at the lowest setting and it worked great. The instructions were a little unclear at a couple spots, but it was not hard to figure out; it ain't rocket surgery. Oh, yeah, and it looks great and works perfectly. I wish we'd discovered Max and Lily back when we bought our first kid's furniture. This was for our last kid and his siblings are jealous."
